Success Stories

With any journey there is an expectation. Mine was merely to feel better, healthier… my favorite thing ended up being the unexpected:  the clarity of mind and focus, the higher energy levels, the inner peace and contentment. I thought I was coming for nutrition, but it ended up being much more.

Learning to apply the rituals, routines and philosophy of Ayurveda along the way makes for easier transitions, and I found I was open to new challenges and changes and successes. I have become aware that the “process” is important and that Ayurveda is not a fad or a fast cure or remedy, but a natural and progressive path to health, contentment and longevity. Three months is merely a beginning …

I have had M.S. for twenty years. When I started with Karen, I had to use a walker to get around so I wouldn’t fall. Now I have the occasional M.S. symptom and I walk without a walker. Karen is my little angel sent from God to help me feel better and walk better. She is very personal and tries to do everything she can to help you. She is always looking up new information and explains things very well. Her massages are wonderful! Ayurveda is to me spirituality–a positive, life-changing way of living.

I loved learning about Ayurveda with Karen! Even after the program, all her teachings still come up in my mind throughout the day and help give me insight about my body and feelings. Karen genuinely cares about helping people and always makes herself available. She helped guide me through many difficult things throughout the program and afterwards! I am so thankful and grateful towards her and her Ayurvedic practice.

I would really like to say that I’m truly a child of God. My daughter, Valerie, was diagnosed with lupus in 2004. She’s now 27 years old. She had lost her kidney function and was only working at 4%; she then was put on dialysis. I asked the lord to help me and guide me to help my baby girl. I feel he directed me right to a lovely lady, Karen Callahan. I was so excited to see what she had to offer with Positively Ayurvedic. She helped with teas that truly helped my daughter. Within a month and a half my daughter was off dialysis and she continues to get healthier everyday. I recommend this product to those who really need to get healthier and feel better. My daughter is happy working and is full of life. Thank you, Karen Callahan and Positively Ayurvedic. And I thank the lord for guiding me to you. Much love.

Can’t wait to be back to see Karen. I walked in with emotion and a physical condition (rated at number 4). I walked out refreshed and rejuvenated (with a rating of 11 on a scale from 1-10.)

My name is Barbora and I learned of Positively Ayurvedic through the Yoga Studio where I practice. Karen Callahan taught a class on Spring Cleansing… from the Closet to the Soul. I had fun participating in the class and went to a follow-up presentation of the detox for the body. The kitchari Karen made was delicious I decided to invest in my wellbeing and got the ingredients on the spot. My home-made kitchari came out great and was very easy to make. I followed the cleanse for 5 days and lost some weight. More importantly, I felt great and my cravings disappeared. I even drink less coffee. I am definitely going to do it again as soon as this weekend. I have just come home from a trip to DC and need to hit the reset button. My plan is to go to the next class Karen teaches and bring a friend as I have been very happy with the services. Way to go, Karen. 😊

Karen is authentically dedicated to the health and wellness of those around her. I have had the experience of working directly with Karen on several branding design projects and have watched her business transform from the beginning steps into the business it is today. I’ve worked with natural health professionals before and I’m impressed by Karen’s community oriented focus and high level of professionalism which stand out among other practitioners. She is enthusiastically committed to offering community events and presentations to raise awareness of Ayurveda outside her private practice and approaches individual health in a holistic method.
